Because your degree will greatly influence the kind of career you will have in the future, you need to choose carefully what course you should pursue. Interest – You have to admit that studying is much fun if you actually like what you are reading or listening to. You probably would not need a winch to get you out of bed and go to school every day. And, you would not end up using your professor as an excuse for your lack of enthusiasm to learn.
Aptitude – What skills and talents do you possess? It is important that you assess what you are really good at, instead of what you only know in theory or what you can do just a little bit.
Funds – Your financial capacity will dictate the course you can and cannot afford. It is a sad fact, but something that you should take into account, especially if you do not want to be saddled with a student loan. Money also matters in terms of how much you will earn after you graduate from a particular degree.
