Introduction

Step into our Kindergarten and Primary campus and you will understand why we call this a ‘home away from home’ for children. Within our close-knit community, you hear the sounds of laughter, notice the smiling faces, and see evidence of our young, inquiring minds.

The Primary Years Programme at CNIS includes Kindergarten through Primary 6. Kindergarten groups are open to expatriate and Singaporean children from age 3-5. The skills gained in the CNIS Kindergarten programmes ensure that children have a solid foundation for their first year of primary school. The CNIS emphasis on Chinese language development will give children that added boost for continued studies within CNIS Primary or the local school system. CNIS Primary includes those children aged 6-12, covering primary 1 through 6.

The Primary Years Programme Acadmic Year runs from September to July. CNIS Kindergarten and Primary will follow the same academic year calendar as CNIS Middle and High School.
