Entertainment There are numerous extra-curricular activities on offer at CNIS, such as dance, calligraphy, cultural arts, martial arts, badminton, squash, soccer and basketball. A young person needs both a broad intellectual and international outlook, as well as a healthy lifestyle including good food choices and physical activity.
In their free time, teachers organize activities, outings and events for students, to acclimatize students to Singapore life, and to get young people to explore some of the cultural and natural diversity here.
Last year, we went on several school trips— team building activities are an important part of our school trips, as well as purely educational outings like Singapore Science Museum and the Art Gallery to name a few. CNIS students experienced “Survivor Island” team building on a remote island in Malaysia, as well as resort style holiday as a group in Batam, Indonesia, cycling on Pulau Ubin Island, and a day at the beach in Sentosa. |
