Admissions Overview
CNIS academic year starts in September and ends in July. There are 2 semesters in one academic school year.
Applications for the current school year are accepted throughout the year and are subjected to space availability. New student applications for the future school year are accepted at any time during the year.
Age Requirement
Students applying for Kindergarten 1 must be toilet-trained and must be three years old by September 1. Kindergarten 2 students must be 4 years old by September 1. Reception/Kindergarten 3 students must be 5 years old by September 1.
As a general guideline, entry to Primary 1 is limited to students who turn six years old by September 1.

To ensure an appropriate class placement for students, we would take into consideration the completed level of study. If the needs should arise, we will arrange interviews by the appropriate teacher.
Support Services
The staff in CNIS provides a variety of support services from Kindergarten through High school. Such areas can include assessment, language guidance, academic support, classroom guidance, and individual counseling.
CNIS does not offer the facilities for special education programmes. The admission of student is based on the best match between the students' needs and the level of services available. Presently, CNIS do not have programmes that can sufficiently cater to children with limited intellectual ability, pronounced social, emotional or behavioral difficulties.
Students Accomodation
CNIS has on-campus boarding facility. We only accept boarders from 13 years old and above. Male and female students are housed on different levels. The students will be supervised by our boarding master and mistress.
Any student who lives off-campus and whose parents are not living in Singapore, must reside with a guardian approved by the student's parents.
